New Contest Entry

I just got done entering my song "Choose Now" into a Progressive Rock contest at www.garageband.com/song.  Please feel free to visit the site, sign up and cast your vote for my latest release.

I'm still working on "Pay Day Blues" and hope to release it next week.  I keep saying that but I'm getting close.  I'm very excited to have recorded the sexy saxaphone harmonies of Scott Sumner last night.  Randy Lynch laid some sweet guitar a month or two ago and I've even elicited the assistance of prominent public figures.  "Pay Day Blues" is a message of Hope from Detroit, to Detroit and the rest of the world.

I'm also working on a song called "Surrender".  In February this year, I was privledged to have Scott Sumner, Randy Lynch and Jim Orzel gather for a jam session.  They recorded the instrumental break in "Choose Now".  After that, they made even more majic happen.  With Scott on the keyboard, Randy on the guitar and Jim on the drums, they played for over an hour, improvising some of the coolest sounds to hit the planet.   A couple of months later, I noticed that a  two year old song I hadn't put to music fit perfectly to one of the jams.  Stay tuned.
