This is a story about Sibel Edmunds, a nationalized Turkish-American citizen who believes in what the United States stands for and David Krikorian, an entrepreneur running for US Congress and the grandson of Armenian genocide survivors, fighting for truth in government.
Sibel was hired by the FBI after 9-11 and given top-secret security clearance to translate documents from suspected terrorists. David is running against U.S. Representative for Ohio Jean Schmidt, who he has accused of accepting campaign contributions from the Turkish government in return for her denial of Armenian Genocide. Finally last month, Sibel was allowed to testify thanks in part to David’s vocal support.
David claims Jean Schmidt accepted “blood money” from the Turkish government in return for her genocide denial. Schmidt is suing David. They are going to court on October 1.
